-
Roller-Based Precision Driver
Maintains consistent bite spacing and smooth needle travel, supporting stable, repeatable laparoscopic suturing with minimal wrist strain.
-
FILBLOC® Knotless Barbed Suture + Final Lock
Secure tissue approximation without traditional knot stacks; the integrated final-lock segment adds confidence in high-tension or deep-field closures.
-
Less Force, Less Fatigue
Investigational use demonstrated reduced hand movement and lower suturing force, supporting surgeon comfort over long procedures while maintaining control.
-
Faster, More Efficient Closures
Improved handling translates to shorter suturing times, helping streamline OR workflow and potentially reducing anesthesia time.
Designed for speed, control, and consistency.
ErgoSuture’s Laparoscopic Suturing Instrument pairs a roller-based mechanism with FILBLOC® knotless barbed suture (with final lock) to simplify intracorporeal suturing. The roller assists smooth, linear advancement so you can reproduce even bite sizes and maintain constant tension with fewer corrective movements.
In investigational testing, the system showed:
1. Less hand movement during needle driving and tissue purchase.
2. Lower suturing force required to maintain tension and advance the needle.
3. Faster suturing times, supporting OR efficiency and reducing surgeon fatigue.
Clinical versatility: The instrument works through standard laparoscopic ports and is optimized for use with polydioxanone (PDO) FILBLOC® sutures for durable, biocompatible closure with minimal tissue reaction. The final-lock segment enables secure termination without bulky knot stacks, keeping profiles low in confined spaces.
Built for confidence: From routine soft-tissue closures to demanding reconstructive work, the combined system maintains tensile reliability and promotes an environment favorable to healing.
